Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Shopdillo collects, why, and who sees it — for both sellers who run stores and buyers who shop at them.

1. What we collect

• Sellers: account email, password (stored hashed), store settings and content, product photos and listings, and order history.
• Buyers: the information needed to fulfill an order — name, shipping address, email, and the items purchased. Payment card details go directly to Stripe; Shopdillo never sees or stores card numbers.
• Everyone: basic technical logs (IP, browser, pages) to keep the Service secure and working.

2. How we use it

• To run the Service: host stores, process orders, send transactional email (receipts, shipping updates, password resets).
• To operate seller tools: product photos and text are processed by third-party providers to generate listings, grades, prices, and photo enhancements.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell personal data, and we don't use buyer data for advertising.

3. Who sees your data

• Your seller: when you buy from a store, that seller receives your order details (name, address, email) to ship your purchase.
• Service providers: Stripe (payments and payouts), DigitalOcean (hosting and storage), Resend (email), and third-party model providers (listing and photo processing). Each processes data only to provide their service.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep sellers signed in and a cart cookie for buyers. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Retention and deletion

Order records are kept as long as needed for the seller's bookkeeping and legal obligations. Sellers can delete listings at any time. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, email [email protected].

6. Security

Traffic is encrypted (TLS), passwords are hashed, payment data is handled solely by Stripe, and seller accounts support two-factor authentication.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced on the platform or by email.
