Terms of Service

Welcome to Shopdillo. These terms govern your use of the Shopdillo platform — the website, seller tools, mobile app, and the storefronts we host ("the Service"). By creating a store or buying from one, you agree to them.

1. What Shopdillo is

Shopdillo provides tools and hosting for independent sellers to run their own online stores. Each store is owned and operated by its seller, not by Shopdillo. When you buy from a store, your purchase contract is with that seller: the seller is the merchant of record, sets prices, describes items, ships orders, and handles returns and refunds.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Sellers must be able to lawfully sell the items they list and to enter contracts in their jurisdiction.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Payments and fees

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Sellers receive payouts through their own Stripe account and are subject to Stripe's terms.
• Shopdillo charges sellers a platform fee per sale (currently 2.5%, or 1.5% on the Pro plan) and an optional Pro subscription. Fees may change with notice.
• Card networks' and Stripe's processing fees are separate and set by them.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to list or sell:

• illegal items, counterfeit or stolen goods, or items that infringe others' intellectual property;
• items prohibited by our payment processor (see Stripe's restricted businesses list);
• anything involving deceptive, fraudulent, or abusive behavior toward buyers or the platform.

We may remove content or stores that violate these rules.

5. Automatically generated content

Shopdillo offers automated tools that help sellers create listings — identification, condition grading, pricing suggestions, descriptions, and photo enhancement. These are assistive estimates, not guarantees. Sellers are responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of their listings, including condition and price. Enhanced photos must not misrepresent an item's condition; original photos are retained on the listing.

6. Content and ownership

Sellers own the content they upload (photos, text, branding) and grant Shopdillo a license to host and display it to operate the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shopdillo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for disputes between buyers and sellers, or for a seller's items, descriptions, or fulfillment. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the platform or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
